Enhancing school site safety

Site safety is an integral part of any school health & safety plan. Children are often faced with dangers that are out of the control of the school, however, too close to not be part of the site safety planning. Examples of this are speeding drivers and drivers who park too close to the school entrance/exit. Although the school cannot physically control the irresponsible actions of drivers, there are products available, that if thoughtfully placed, can serve as reminders and help to reduce the risk of harm to pupils.

Eureka! is the first-choice provider of school first aid supplies in the UK. Over the years, the organisation’s product portfolio has been expanding to provide schools with an easy, convenient and trusted way to order hygiene and safety products alongside first aid.

A recent introduction to the Eureka! product portfolio is a series of visual safety banners, specifically designed for use at schools.

Safety banners are a low-cost means of reminding drivers of the dangers posed by their actions, thus assisting to reduce the risk of harm. Enhancing school site safety with road a "20 is plenty" road sign

The Eureka! school safety banners are manufactured using 550gsm PVC, making them suitable for outdoor use all year round. Six brass eyelets allow for easy mounting with cable ties, but also enable the banner to be repositioned without any damage occurring to the material, should this be required.

No parking, speed limit and no idling banners are amongst the range of new safety signage products available to purchase from Eureka!. The organisation also provides a vast range of workplace safety signage, HSE law posters, notices and learning posters to name but a few.
